UFGS 33 71 02 Underground Electrical Distribution

Complete review. Revised to incorporate CCRs.

Incorporated dispersal of criteria from the retired UFC 3-440-05N TROPICAL ENGINEERING, and the addition of corrosion protection criteria to coordinate with UFC 1-200-01 DoD BUILDING CODE.
FAR/DFAR changes no longer permit the use of "brand name or equal" in the UFGS, therefore, the following language was removed from the paragraph Cable Marking (2.2.6) “, or approved equal,”.

The UFGS has been revised through-out. Modifications include updates to references and clarifications of requirements and applications of materials and methods relating to: conduits, conductors, certificates, faulted circuit indicators, fireproofing, handholes, grounding, and duct-banks.
