UFGS 33 11 00 Water Utility Distribution Piping

Complete review and update.

In response to the following CCRs: 13045, updated paragraph reference in first Specifier Note of MATERIALS paragraph (2.1); and 13586, added paragraph Knife Gate Valves (2.1.2.3) and reference AWWA C520

Changes made to incorporate multiple CCRs, including updating lead free and PE Pipe requirements and adding PE tubing.

Complete revision of this section

Updated to coordinate archiving of Section 23 09 23.13 20 BACnet Direct Digital Control Systems for HVAC to meet the requirement of 10 USC 2867 to adopt a “Department wide, Open Protocol, Energy Monitoring and Utility Control System Specification” for use in military construction and military family housing activities.

Title changed from WATER DISTRIBUTION; revised throughout, superseding the previous section.
