UFGS 01 91 00.15 Building Commissioning

In response to CCR 13595, moved language related to warranty period requirements from PROJECT SCHEDULE paragraph (1.8) to CONSTRUCTION PHASE COMMISSIONING PLANS paragraph (3.7); added language for Air Force usage.

Clarified the language in COMMISSIONING FIRM paragraph (1.11)

Section number has been reinstated with the unification of Army and Navy Commissioning Sections. This new version supersedes UFGS-01 91 00.15 10 and UFGS-01 91 00.15 20 TOTAL BUILDING COMMISSIONING. Title has been changed to BUILDING COMMISSIONING.

Preparing Activity changed to NAVFAC as this section has been for Navy-use only since 05-2019; In response to the following: CCR 6881, paragraph Project Schedule (1.6.2) is not appropriate for use on Navy projects and was removed; and CCR 8403, in paragraph Lead Commissioning Specialist (1.8.1) , "ASHRAE Commissioning Process Management Professional (CPMP) was changed to "ASHRAE Building Commissioning Professional (BCxP)"

Sustainability updates required to coordinate with the Federal Codes and DoD policies and procedures.

Updated to coordinate archiving of Navy Section 23 09 23.13 20 BACnet Direct Digital Control Systems for HVAC to meet the requirement of 10 USC 2867 to adopt a "Department-wide, Open Protocol, Energy Monitoring and Utility Control System Specification" for use in Military construction and military family housing activity.

In response to CCR 5173, added two "S" submittals in SD-11.

Superseding UFGS 23 08 00.00 10 COMMISSIONING OF HVAC SYSTEMS; Total Building Commissioning requirements for new construction and major renovations.
