Summary
This UFC provides criteria and requirements for the design and construction of economical, efficient, and environmentally acceptable distribution piping systems for heating, cooling, and compressed air plants. The scope of this UFC covers exterior distribution piping up to 5 feet from the buildings envelope. This document does not constitute a detailed technical design, maintenance, or operation manual. This document includes any new advancements for mechanical utility distribution, if applicable.
