This command can be executed from the Editor's Toolbar, or keyboard shortcut Shift+F8.

When activated, this function marks text for addition and deletion as you edit.  Text to be added is identified with an underscore and the green ADD Tags. Text to be deleted is identified with strikethrough and the red DEL TagsSpecsIntact relies on tags to control content, and formatting, automate processes, and generate reports. These special markers, like
and
, define elements and attributes within the specifications. Some tags, like <Page />, function independently. In essence, tags are the building blocks of SpecsIntact documents.

The RevisionsThe Revisions command reveals or conceals Revisions that are tagged in the text. Text to be added is identified with underscoring and the addition tags, <ADD> and </ADD>. Whereas text to be deleted, or Redlined, is identified with overstriking and the delete tags, <DEL> and </DEL> function automatically inserts ADD and DEL tags and marks the text for addition and deletion. The changes become permanent when you use either the Editor's Execute Revisions command or the similar commands found on the Explorer's File menu (for an entire Job or Master) or the Sections menu (for individual Sections).
