TagsSpecsIntact relies on tags to control content, and formatting, automate processes, and generate reports. These special markers, like <SEC> and </SEC>, define elements and attributes within the specifications. Some tags, like <Page />, function independently. In essence, tags are the building blocks of SpecsIntact documents: <PRT>  </PRT>

This tag is used to identify the PARTS within a SectionA set of files within the Division of a Master or Job that covers specific aspects of construction such as PartAll sections are divided into three parts: General, Products, and Execution 1, 2 and 3

Illustration Icon Indicating Important Information To NoteThe Part tag is used to surround parts within a Section.  The Construction Specification Institute (CSISpecsIntact Section formatting conforms to the Construction Specifications Institute’s (CSI) format) standard is that all Section Files have only three parts.  The only exception to this standard are the Administrative Document s located within DivisionEach Master is made up of Divisions containing groups of Sections that cover specific construction areas. Division Names and Titles are in accordance with CSI MasterFormat™ 00.  If a Section does not contain three parts, a Validation LogA log that provides information on errors encountered during Validation Error message will be generated when the document is saved.
