This command can be executed from the SI Explorer's Setup menu, Toolbar or keyboard shortcut Ctrl+N.
This function lists the Master found in the connected Working Directories and allows SpecsIntact to search your system for all the Masters you have available and display them by name and location on your system.
From the list, you can select or deselect Masters you want visible in the SI Explorer by checking or unchecking them in the text box area. A check means the Master is connected and will be available in the SI Explorer for setting up your Jobs and Masters.
From the drop-down menu, select which of your connected Masters you want to use as your default
You can change to a different Master when you set up a new Job or Master from the General tab.
Searches your system for additional Masters not displayed.
The OK button will execute and save selections made and make them part of your Master's properties.
The Cancel button will close the window without recording any selections or changes entered.
The Help button will open the Help Topic for this window.
If Multiple Working Directories are used, Masters may be in a different location and may not appear on the list. If this occurs, follow the steps below.
When the list contains a large number of Masters, use the scroll bars to select the newly scanned Master(s).
If there the Master has the same name but a different path, make sure to deselect the old path first, then select the Master with the correct path.
