SI Explorer Sections Menu - Renumber

This command can be executed from the SI Explorer's Sections menu, Right-click menu, or keyboard shortcut Ctrl+R.

Allows you to renumber the a SectionA set of files within the Division of a Master or Job that covers specific aspects of construction(s) in a Master that use the Traditional Paragraph Numbering scheme.  This process renumbers the SubpartThe levels below a Part are referred to as Subparts. These Subpart levels are then broken down into and referenced as Articles, Paragraphs and Subparagraphs, although the share the same Subpart <SPT> Tag Levels within the Section(s) and permanently changes the actual Section (.sec) files, not the processed (.prn) files.

How To Use This Feature

How to Renumber Section(s)

1. From the SpecsIntact Explorer

2. From the right-pane, use the Shift or Ctrl Keys to select the Sections you want to renumber

3. Select the Sections menu and choose Renumber, or right-clickTo press the right button of a mouse and release it to open a menu on a Section(s) and choose Renumber

4. From the Confirm Selections to Renumber window, verify the list of Sections or uncheck any Section(s) you do not want to renumber

5. Select OK on subsequent confirmations.

How to Tailor an Individual Section

1. From the SpecsIntact Explorer

2. From the right-pane, use the Shift or Ctrl Keys to select the Sections you want to renumber

3. Select the Sections menu and choose Renumber, or right-click on an individual Section and choose Renumber

4. From the Confirm Selections to Renumber window, verify the Section is correct

5. Select OK on subsequent confirmations.
