SI Explorer File Menu - Properties: Cover Page

This command can be executed from the SI Explorer's File menu and Right-click menu.

A Cover Page can be added to a Job either by creating a new Cover Page or by adding one provided by a government agency.

Select Existing Cover Page

By default, a Job will automatically reflect No Cover Page and the Edit button will be disabled. When a Cover Page has been added either by Creating a New Cover Page, or by using Browse and Copy, the Cover page can be selected from the drop-down list.  The selected Cover Page is the default Cover Page for the Job.

New Cover Page

Allows you to create a new Cover Page for the Job in either Word, PDF, RTF or SpecsIntact Formats.

Browse And Copy

Selecting Browse and Copy allows you to easily navigate to locate a Cover Page so it can be copied to the Job.

Print

Will print the contents from all the Properties Tabs.

Standard Windows Commands

How to Add an Existing Cover Page

  1. From the SpecsIntact Explorer

  2. Select a Job, and then select the Properties button on the ToolbarToolbars assists the user in preparing and editing specifications by allowing quick access to commonly used commands. If you place your mouse pointer over any toolbar button, you will see a tool tip telling you the command associated with that button or right-clickTo press the right button of a mouse and release it to open a menu and select Properties

  3. From the Properties tab,  Select the Browse and Copy button

  4. Browse and select the file (must be a Word, PDF, RTF or SpecsIntact Format)

  5. Select Open .

  6. Continue navigating by expanding the tree view until you reach the folder that contains the SectionA set of files within the Division of a Master or Job that covers specific aspects of construction(s) you wish to add

  7. From the Files section (top-right pane), select on or more Section(s)

  8. Select the Add button

  9. Select OK
