This command can be executed from the SI Explorer's File menu, and Right-click menu.

Produces a Web (.htm) file or Comma-delimitedRefers to the accessibility of a computer system to all people, regardless of disability type or severity of impairment. The term accessibility is most often used to in reference to specialized hardware or software, or a combination of both, designed to enable use of a computer by a person with a disability or impairment file.  Exporting the TailoringTagged elements <TAI> </TAI> inserted by the Master Specification writer to indicate specific elements within a specification. These tags allow them to include or exclude requirements based on factors like agency or product. This pre-editing removes irrelevant requirements, simplifying customization for each project Options List to a Web file is intended to provide a form the project team can use to mark the TailoringTagged elements <TAI> </TAI> inserted by the Master Specification writer to indicate specific elements within a specification. These tags allow them to include or exclude requirements based on factors like agency or product. This pre-editing removes irrelevant requirements, simplifying customization for each project Options to exclude from the Job, Master, or SectionA set of files within the Division of a Master or Job that covers specific aspects of construction(s). Both formats can be opened in any Web Browser, imported into Microsoft Excel, or emailed to the project team.

Once the file(s) are generated, they will be available within the SpecsIntact Explorer and located in the JobA specific facility construction project that consists of a group of guide specifications (Section (.sec) files) that are adapted to the project or MasterA group of standard Government agency (Master) Guide Specifications used in the preparation of a Job Exports folder.

Format Options

Create Web File

Creates a well-structured Web (.htm) file that can be opened and displayed in popular web browsers like Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox.

Comma-Delimited Text File

Generates tabular data separated by commas designed to easily import into any spreadsheet application.

Color for Web Format

The Web Format file defaults to no color. You can customize the appearance with one of three available color options. 

File Options

File Name

The file name is automatically generated and displayed based on the Job or Master name, but the can be customized in the text field.

Folder Name

By default, the Exported TailoringTagged elements <TAI> </TAI> inserted by the Master Specification writer to indicate specific elements within a specification. These tags allow them to include or exclude requirements based on factors like agency or product. This pre-editing removes irrelevant requirements, simplifying customization for each project Options List will be saved to the Job or Masters Exports folder.  Select the Change button if you'd like to save the Exported Tailoring Options List to a different location.

E-mail Options

When selected, this feature will create a new e-mail message and attach the selected file(s), to easily send to your team members or customers.

Illustration Icon Indicating Important Information To NoteThis feature supports MAPI e-mail clients, such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird.  Web-based e-mail clients that use POP3 and IMAP such as  Gmail, Yahoo and AOL use POP3 and IMAP are not supported.

How To Use This Feature

  1. In the SpecsIntact Explorer, right-click on the Job and choose Export Tailoring Options or select File > Export Tailoring Options

  2. In the Export Tailoring Options window

  3. Below Format Options select Web Format file (Color For Web File selections are optional)

  4. Select OK

  1. In the SpecsIntact Explorer, right-click on the Job and choose Export Tailoring Options or select File > Export Tailoring Options

  2. In the Export Tailoring Options window

  3. Below Format Options select Web Format file (Color For Web File choices are optional)

  4. Below E-mail Options, select Attach exported files to e-mail message when finished

  5. Select OK

  6. When the e-mail message opens, add recipient(s) and message

  7. Select Send
