This command can be executed from the SI Editor's Tools menu and Right-Click menu.
This command is activated when the cursor is placed between Reference Identifier RID tags within a SectionA set of files within the Division of a Master or Job that covers specific aspects of construction.
Using this feature enables the system to compare the RTL and ORG for that RID as it is found in the Section Reference Article with any corresponding listing found in the default Unified Master Reference List (UMRL)A list of all referenced standards cited in the Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) Master. It is used to generate Reference Articles when performing Master text processing functions. The UMRL is also used by the SI Explorers Reference Wizard and Reference Checking features or the Supplemental Reference List (SRL)A custom file maintained by the user to include reference standards not found in the UFGS Master guide specifications.

If the reference listed doesn't match the one in your section's Reference Article, or if it's missing entirely, you can update the reference directly within the section.

The Supplemental Reference List can be managed from SI Explorer's Process menu > Reference Processing..
