TagsSpecsIntact relies on tags to control content, and formatting, automate processes, and generate reports. These special markers, like <SEC> and </SEC>, define elements and attributes within the specifications. Some tags, like <Page />, function independently. In essence, tags are the building blocks of SpecsIntact documents: <SUB>  </SUB>
Description:

This tag is used to identify Submittal Descriptions and Submittal Items and the text surrounded by SUB tags appears blue when viewing colors.

Illustration Icon Indicating Important Information To NoteSpecsIntact utilizes the Submittal Key tag to generate the Submittal Register, Submittal VerificationThe Submittal Verification Report (SUBMVER.RPT) lists Sections that do not cite Submittal Items in both the Submittal Article and elsewhere in the Section's text, that cite invalid Classifications, or that contain Submittal Descriptions or Classifications outside the Submittal Article. It also reports Submittal Descriptions from the Sections’ Submittal Articles that differ from those found in the Submittal Procedures Section, or that are missing from the Submittal Procedures Section Report and the Submittal ListThe Submittal List (SUBMLIST.RPT) includes all the Submittal Descriptions found in the Submittal Articles, along with the Sections and Subparts in which they can be found. The SD definitions are extracted from Submittal Procedures Section.
