TagsSpecsIntact relies on tags to control content, and formatting, automate processes, and generate reports. These special markers, like <SEC> and </SEC>, define elements and attributes within the specifications. Some tags, like <Page />, function independently. In essence, tags are the building blocks of SpecsIntact documents: <STL>  </STL>
Description:

This tag is used to identify the SectionA set of files within the Division of a Master or Job that covers specific aspects of construction Title.  The Section Title  is partAll sections are divided into three parts: General, Products, and Execution of the Section Identification and located below the Section Number, separated by a blank line, and above the Section Date.

Rules:

Can only contain text and no more than 64 characters

Illustration Icon Indicating Important Information To NoteSpecsIntact uses the STL tag to find the title of the Section.  If the STL tag is missing from the Section, the SI Editor will produce a Validation LogA log that provides information on errors encountered during Validation Error when saving the Section.  Also, the Project Table of ContentsA Table of Contents can be prepared for the entire job. The Project Table of Contents lists all the sections included in the job will display '[SECTION TITLE - MAXIMUM 64 CHARACTERS]'.
