The Contents panel of the SpecsIntact Explorer is governed by the Available Projects panel. This content is dynamically generated and updated in response to the selected folder within the project hierarchy such as the main Illustration SI Explorer's Left Pane Tree View Jobs FolderJobs or Illustration SI Explorer's Left Pane Tree View Masters FolderMasters folders, the individual Illustration SI Explorer's Left Pane Job FolderJob or Illustration SI Explorer's Left Pane Master FolderMaster folders, or subfolders. Files can be opened in the SI Editor or other third-party programs like Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, Notepad, and web browsers. For quick identification, files are color-coded based on their type, making them visually distinguishable.

This displays the name and title of the selected JobA specific facility construction project that consists of a group of guide specifications (Section (.sec) files) that are adapted to the project or MasterA group of standard Government agency (Master) Guide Specifications used in the preparation of a Job, along with the Search Bar and column headers.

Use the Search Bar to easily navigate to a specific Division or Section within the selected Job or Master.

Column Headers

Column headers are displayed in the Contents panel allowing you to sort your documents by the displayed categories.  The column headers will vary depending on whether you have selected the main Illustration SI Explorer's Left Pane Tree View Jobs FolderJobs or Illustration SI Explorer's Left Pane Tree View Masters FolderMasters folder or an individual Illustration SI Explorer's Left Pane Job FolderJob or Illustration SI Explorer's Left Pane Master FolderMaster folder.

Default Column Headers

Illustration SI Explorer's Left Pane Tree View Jobs FolderJobs:  Name, Job Title, Lead Specifier, Date Created, Project Status, Contract, Location and Working Directory.

Illustration Icon Indicating Important Information To NoteWhen the Network Optimization features are enabled, most of the Job information will remain unavailable until the Job is refreshed. This can be accomplished by selecting the Job again, toggle Job selection, or by pressing F5. Before refreshing, the Job Title will display 'Select Job to see Job Information' and the location will be shown as 'not loaded'.

How to Use this feature

  1. In the SpecsIntact Explorer, place your cursor in the Search Bar field
  2. Type the two-digit Division number (e.g., 01, 03, 22, 34, etc.), then perform one of the following:
  3. Press Enter 
  4. Click the Search Icon

  1. In the SpecsIntact Explorer, place your cursor in the Search Bar field
  2. Type the Section Number to include the spaces and punctuation, then perform one of the following:
    1. Press Enter 
    2. Click the Search Icon
