SI Editor View Menu - Numeric Paragraphs 

This command can also be executed from the SI Editor's keyboard shortcut Alt+U.

The Numeric Paragraph view option controls the on-screen display of paragraph numbers, defined by the Automatic Paragraph Numbering, enabling seamless switching between the Numeric and Alphanumeric numbering schemes, not affecting how Sections are printed or published. Numeric numbering is the default setting for new Jobs and Masters. 

The Automatic Paragraph Numbering option in the SpecsIntact Explorer governs the SI Editor's on-screen display of paragraph numbers. This setting is applied by default to new projects.

To learn more about Automatic Paragraph Numbering, refer to the SpecsIntact Explorer's File menu > Properties menu > Options tab.

How To Use This Feature

To Change the On-Screen Paragraph Numbering View:

1. In the SI Editor, select the View menu, then perform one of the following:
   1. Select Numeric Paragraphs to view the numeric numbering scheme
   2. Deselect Numeric Paragraphs  to view the alphanumeric numbering scheme

To Change the Automatic Paragraph Numbering For A Job or Master:

1. In the SpecsIntact Explorer, select the File menu, then select Properties
2. In the Properties window, select the Options tab
3. Below Paragraph Format for Automatically Numbered Sections, select Numeric or Alphanumeric
4. Click OK
