This Command can be executed from the keyboard shortcut Alt+D.

Allows you to change the Margins, tab Stops text for a specified tag.

Units of Measure

Choose whether you want your Margins to be measured in Inches or Millimeters.

Page Margins

Enter the numeric value you want to use for Top and Bottom Margins.

Tag Margins

Name

From the pull-down list, select the name of the element you want to format.

Tag

The tag that corresponds to the selected element name.

Left

Enter the numeric value you want to use for the left margin of the text within the specified tag.

Enter the numeric value you want to use for the right margin of the text within the specified tag.

Center Text

Check the box if you want to center the text between the left and right margins.

Tabs

Indicate the number of spaces you want the cursor to move when the tab key is pressed.  The default is three.

Default All

Returns the line margins to the SpecsIntact default values for the tag selected.

This function should be used with caution, and only by those with a thorough knowledge of SpecsIntact. If you are uncertain about whether to use this function to format your documents, contact Technical Support before proceeding. The settings will remain until either they are changed from within this window, or until a newer version of the software is installed.

  1. In the SI Editor
  2. Select Format and choose Margins
  3. In the Margins window, select Default All

  4. Select OK
