SI Editor Edit Menu - Paste

This command can be executed from the Editor's Toolbar, Right-click menu, or keyboard shortcut Ctrl+V.

Allows you to copy the highlighted text into the Windows ClipboardThe Windows Clipboard is a temporary storage location for transferring information. Information is placed in the Clipboard through the cut or copy function and will remain there until you clear the Clipboard, cut or copy another piece of information onto it, or exit Windows.  The copied text remains in the Clipboard until you paste through the Cut or Copy function, or until Windows is shut down.

How To Use This Feature

  1. In the Editing Window
  2. Place the cursor in the location you wish to place your text

  3. Right-click and choose Paste, or select the Edit menu and select Paste
